2025 CCTM Region 3 Representative Candidate

I would be honored to represent you on the CCTM board. With over 30 years of experience in the classroom, I have consistently worked to support students in making meaningful connections within mathematics and between math and their own lives. Throughout my career, I have also served the profession. These experiences—both in the classroom and beyond—have broadened my perspective and deepened my commitment to ensuring that all students see themselves as capable learners and doers of mathematics. Some highlights of my professional journey include attending the IAS/Park City Mathematics Institute, serving on the committee that revised the mathematics standards for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, and having a favorite lesson published in Mathematics Teacher. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and recently earned a doctorate in educational leadership.

Thank you for your consideration in this election. I look forward to serving as your representative.

2025 CCTM Treasurer Candidate

The opportunity to continue as Treasurer for CCTM is an honor and great responsibility.  Last year when Dr. Joseph Bolz (former Treasurer) transitioned to our Partner Chair, I was invited to take on the treasurer role in an interim capacity for one year.  During that time, I attended and engaged in executive and full board meetings, tracked budgets and patterns in spending, and ensured financial obligations were attended to in a timely fashion.  If the past year has been 'my audition', I would like the next three-year term to be a role I continue to grow with and demonstrate value.  Those who know me would say I am a dependable, solution-oriented thinker who is ethical, highly responsible, and fully transparent.  These qualities are essential for serving as CCTM's Treasurer.  If elected as CCTM Treasurer, I will use my skills to advance our collective mission of providing advocacy and support for math teachers across the state of Colorado.  I hope that I have your support.

2025 CCTM Region 6 Candidate

With over 20 years in elementary education as a classroom teacher, interventionist, math coach, and content specialist, I am deeply committed to supporting high-quality mathematics instruction for all students. My journey in becoming a Math Recovery Specialist has been instrumental in transforming how I approach numeracy development and in helping others deepen their understanding of student thinking. I have had the privilege of working alongside dedicated educators to build understanding, foster curiosity, and elevate effective teaching practices. Receiving the Milken Educator Award was an unexpected honor and speaks to the impact of collaboration and continuous learning throughout my career. I am interested in serving as the Region 6 representative for CCTM to support teachers and learners in our region, contribute to statewide conversations, and help advance the mission through service and shared leadership.
