Chapter 6, "Use and Connect Mathematical Representations," helps educators use and connect multiple representations to deepen student understanding of concepts and procedures. Book study participants will dis cuss how to select tasks that allow students to decide which representation s to use in making sense of problems and to explain and justify their reaso ning.
