Chapter 4: Conceptual understanding and procedural fluency

The December CCTM *Taking Action* book study explores the relationsh
ip between these two critical components of mathematics teaching and how to
sequence tasks and leverage the equity-based mathematics teaching practice
to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and their procedural fluency
